During her visit to Liverpool, Cris has a packed programme of activities. As well as networking lunches with our own doctoral students, both in Hispanic Studies and across all our languages, Cris will have research discussions with Prof Taylor, will join Prof Taylor and Jordana Blejmar in meetings of the Latin(o) American Digital Art Project, and will visit the offices of the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies, to get an insight into how an academic journal works.

Cris will also be speaking at the Departmental Research Seminar Series on Wednesday 13th May. Entitled “The Domestication of Memory and The History of Women who Fought Against the Brazilian Dictatorship”, the talk draws on Cris’s doctoral research, and focuses on the representation of women through the study of testimonies.
