Wednesday 11th March at 1pm – Presentation on Traineeships – Location: Careers & Employability Service Seminar Room

For those of you who aren’t ready to launch into a permanent position, traineeships with the EU are a fantastic place to start! Offered by all of the main institutions of the EU, including the Commission, the Council and the Parliament, as well as by governmental and non-governmental agencies, they will provide you with invaluable experience, what’s more, they are CV gold! Attend this presentation for more information on the various institutions and organizations which offer traineeships, and several helpful resources.

Tuesday 17th March at 3pm – Presentation on administrator (permanent) roles with the EU – Location: Careers & Employability Service Seminar Room

With applications opening on 19th March for administrators (generalists), attend this presentation for an essential introduction to what the application procedure comprises, what you can expect when embarking on a career with the EU, and where it can take you. This is a crucial event for anyone considering applying for a career with the EU, be it this year, or in the future.

Thursday 26th March at 12pm – Computer-Based Testing – Location: Careers & Employability Service Meeting Room

Attend this workshop in order to gain one-to-one advice on how to get through the EU recruitment competitions! A simulation will be provided in order for you to experience the tests; you will also have the chance to ask your EU Careers Ambassador for advice.
