As essay deadlines and exams are impending, the newly rebranded CLAS Library (formerly the SOCLAS Library and Modern Languages Resource Library) would like to remind students that there are many resources available to aid you with your studies.

In addition to the extensive collection of language textbooks and DVDs, we have a number of cinema books available for those of you writing essays on cinema topics.

For those of you wanting to develop your language skills, why not nip in and watch TV when you have a spare 30 minutes? We have TV channels from France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Cuba which you can watch in our AV room throughout the week.  The four computers in the library also contain a wide variety of language learning software, so that you can practice your grammar, listening and translation skills.

As always, the computers in the library are connected to our own printer, and there’s plenty of desk space should the Sydney Jones Library  prove short of space for your general revision needs.

To keep up to date with news from the library, you can follow us on Twitter (@claslibraryliv) and like us on Facebook .
