‘It’s summer time, the month of august in Vascões, in the north of Portugal. Many of the houses of emigrants, empty during the rest of the year, are once more inhabited. We visit six of them, guided by the stories of those who built them.’

We finish in total decadence, tasting the best of Portuguese wines. This is classic Lusophone week closure, this time led by wine specialist – and one of our own – James Baxter. Sip and taste at your own peril and, most importantly, drink responsibly.
